Five Men’s Golfers Earn All-ASC Honors

GRANBURY, Texas – The American Southwest Conference runner-up UT Dallas earned two individual awards and five players honored on the all-conference men’s golf teams, the league announced Sunday. Cole Sondgeroth earned Coach of the Year honors for the second consecutive year. The 14th-ranked Comets averaged 290.2 shots per round, won three tournaments and had three more second place finishes. UTD was ranked #1 in the West Region going into the championships. Under Sondgeroth, the Comets have broken the school record for team scoring and birdies with 543.
