GMC GIRLS SOCCER: Always-strong Cox Mill making run for first GMC title; a look at league leaders

CHARLOTTE – Cabarrus County has gotten accustomed to seeing the Cox Mill girls soccer team near the top of the conference standings on a regular basis. And while the Chargers aren’t in the No. 1 spot – yet -- this season, they’re still among their league’s elite. The Chargers currently have a 9-4-3 overall record and are 5-1-1 in the Greater Metro 4 Conference, tops among the league’s Cabarrus County teams.
