GVSU Baseball Sweeps GLIAC Player of the Week Honors

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today that Grand Valley State senior pitcher Sam Leck and senior infielder Jake Rydquist were named the GLIAC Pitcher and Player of the Week. GVSU claimed the weekend series (3-1) and season series (4-2) from Wayne State by winning the final three games. Leck tossed the ninth no-hitter in GVSU program history as the Lakers claimed a 5-1 win over Wayne State in the opening game Saturday.
