Hal Nunnally Inducted into Virginia Sports Hall of Fame
ASHLAND, Va. – On April 20, 2024, former Randolph-Macon College men’s basketball coach Hal Nunnally was one of nine inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. A native of Petersburg, Va., Coach Nunnally led the Yellow Jacket men’s basketball program for 24 seasons. He posted a record of 431-232, recording the most wins in program history. Coach Nunnally led RMC to 20 winning seasons, 10 seasons of at least 20 victories, 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, and an appearance in the 1977 NCAA Division II National Championship game.
