Heiman, Schmid named Hy-Vee Student-Athletes of the Week

TOPEKA, Kan. — Washburn’s Wyatt Heiman from Ichabod track and Lara Schmid from Ichabod tennis have been named the HyVee Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of action ending April 21. Wyatt Heiman qualified seventh in the 200m at the Kansas Relays breaking the school record in a time of 21.16 for an NCAA provisional mark and then placed fifth in the finals in a time of 21.70.
