Huskies’ 4×100 Team of Betty, Young, Conley and Karantza Named Little East Conference Relay of the Week

GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine 4×100 relay team of junior Mackenzie Betty (Nashua, N.H./Nashua South), sophomore Janiah Young (Perkinsville, Vt./Windsor), junior Heaven Conley (Ogunquit, Maine/Wells) and sophomore Alexis Karantza (Westbrook, Maine) have been named the Little East Conference Relay of the Week. The group placed second at the Pine Tree State Classic on Saturday hosted by Bowdoin College. The group ran a time of 50.02 seconds which is a season-best for Southern Maine in the event.
