Irish Fall To Virginia At The ACC Championships

CARY, N.C. – The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team dropped its quarterfinal contest to the fourth-ranked Virginia Cavaliers last weekend. The Fighting Irish close the regular season at 17-9. The doubles point went the way of the Cavaliers as Virginia got wins at No. 1 and No. 3, both by a 6-2 margin. Notre Dame couldn’t find its footing in the singles portion, dropping three matches as UVA took the 4-0 victory.
