Jasmine Claggett Memorial Track Meet: Records Shattered, Senators Dominate Events

Buckhannon, WV – The Davis & Elkins track teams finished their regular season competitions with a short trip to WV Wesleyan for the Jasmine Claggett Memorial. The Senators won 8 events on the day and had two more school records to highlight the competitions. Lauren Twyman once again broke a school record, this time winning the 1500 in 4:44.74. The record makes Twyman’s third different record in the past two meets. Ella Hesson won the 5000m in 18:57, breaking the 19-minute barrier for the first time.
