Track & Field’s Jimmy Hinkley and Women’s Lacrosse’s Samantha Hurd have been named Carroll’s ‘Pios of the Week’ for the week ending April 21, 2024. Hinkley continued his outstanding season over the weekend at the Wheaton (IL) Twilight, winning the Hammer Throw once again with a distance of 60.45 meters (198-04), which shatters his own school record mark of 60.04 meters. The Grayslake, Ill. native currently ranks first in the CCIW and fifth in all of NCAA Division-III, as he is undefeated in that event this season.
