GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College senior Alec Katon (Ashtabula, Ohio/Edgewood) was announced as the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Pitcher of the Week Monday afternoon. Katon went 1-0 in two starts last week, both Thiel wins. For the week, he posted a 2.40 ERA with 10 strikeouts and only nine hits in 15 innings of work. Katon allowed just three hits in hisstart on Tuesday against Waynesburg. He struck out six and did not allow an extra-base hit in six innings.
