Kenney Wins Second NE10 Rookie of the Week

Mansfield, Mass. – For the second time in her inaugural campaign, Adelphi University softball freshman pitcher Lily Kenney has been named NE10 Rookie of the Week. The freshman threw her first-ever complete game shutout against Southern Connecticut State this past Tuesday (Apr. 16,) allowing just five hits on 59 pitches. The Connecticut native also threw five strikeouts in Sunday’s Game 2 win over Georgian Court University, a new season-high for the newcomer.
