Makhia Laster And Mya Hurley Named Bengal Athletes Of The Week

BUFFALO, NY – Makhia Laster (Buffalo, NY/Tapestry Charter) of the Buffalo State track and field team and Mya Hurley (Amherst, NY/Amherst) of the Buffalo State softball team have been named Bengal Athletes of the Week for their respective performances this past week. Laster, a junior Africana Studies major, had a strong weekend for the Bengals, earning a pair of victories at the Geneseo Invite on Saturday evening.
