Maycin Brown wins SoCon Player of the Week, Leads UNCG Softball Team

UNC Greensboro softball player Maycin Brown earns SoCon Player of the Week, becoming the third Spartan to receive this honor.

• Maycin Brown had a .538 batting average, going 7-for-13 at the plate with no strikeouts.
• She scored five runs and drove in five RBIs, including two doubles and three home runs in four games.

• Maycin Brown's performance led the Spartans to a 2-2 week, winning the series over Western Carolina.
• She played two games at second base and two at third base with a .917 fielding percentage and just one error.

The Spartans will host Charlotte for a mid-week battle on Wednesday, April 24 at the UNCG Softball Stadium.
