Mitchell Sanford Earns Southland Hitter of the Week Honors

FRISCO, Texas – Mitchell Sanford continued his scorching pace and has now added his first Jersey Mike’s Southland Hitter of the Week award. The award was announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Sanford went 8-for-14 at the plate in four games against LSU and McNeese. He hit three home runs including one against his former team on Tuesday night. Sanford also drove in 11 runs to move his RBI total to a conference leading 58 on the season.
