DANVILLE, Va. — No. 46 Averett University women’s tennis lost to No. 21 Washington and Lee University 9-0 on Monday in a showdown for the top seed in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Averett (13-5, 9-1 ODAC), ranked No. 10 in the region, will earn the second seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament, while Washington and Lee (15-1, 10-0 ODAC), which is ranked No. 6 in the region, earned the top seed by remaining undefeated.
