Pickering and Geekie Headed to Respective AHL Clubs

A pair of Swift Current Broncos are off to their AHL clubs as the Calder Cup Playoffs get underway. Forward Conor Geekie is headed to Tucson to join the Roadrunners, while Defenceman Owen Pickering is off to join the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Pickering just finished his third season with the Broncos. The Broncos Captain set career highs in assists and points this season with 46 points and 39 assists to go along with seven goals in 59 games.
