Potts Named UAA Softball Hitter of the Week

Case Western Reserve University first-year infielder Karen Potts was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week after her performance across four games last weekend for the 10th-ranked Spartans. Potts had the best offensive series of her young career during the team’s four-game road sweep of Brandeis. She went nine-for-14 at the plate (.643 batting average) with a .706 on-base percentage and 1.500 slugging percentage, culminating in a 2.206 OPS across 17 plate appearances.
