Sanchez Earns Second Big West Freshman of the Week Nod

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN Softball's Lulu Sanchez received her second Big West Freshman of the Week award on Monday, the league office announced. Sanchez hit at a .364 clip in this past weekend's Big West series against UC Riverside. Sanchez produced hits in all three games of the UC Riverside series, finishing with four total while she had two runs batted in. Originally from La Mirada, Sanchez has hit safely in four consecutive games and posted the second-best batting average on the team in conference play at .313.
