Softball: Raiders Blank Capital in Sweep
ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union’s softball team swept Capital in an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader on Monday afternoon, winning game one 7-0 and winning game two 8-0 in five innings. The Purple Raiders (27-4, 12-0 OAC) would strike first in game one when junior Adri George (Eastlake / North) hit an RBI single that scored sophomore Faith Reicosky (North Canton / Hoover) in the bottom of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead.
