T’Mars McCallum Earns National Athlete of the Week Honors
NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday afternoon that Tennessee sophomore sprinter T’Mars McCallum was tabbed NCAA Division I National Athlete of the Week after his spectacular performance in the men’s 100-meter dash on Saturday at the USC Outdoor Open. The Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, native clocked in at 9.94 seconds for the fastest time in the NCAA this season and the second-fastest mark in the world in 2024.
