TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - North Florida baseball (18-19) had a one-run lead early on after a solo home run from Cherokee Nichols , which was one of two Osprey homers on the night, but ultimately lost at No. 10 Florida State (32-8), 10-2, on Tuesday evening. UNF went into the bottom of the third with the slight edge on the road against the Seminoles, but a five-run including from FSU gave them the lead.
