Greensboro, NC – The USA South Athletic Conference announced on Monday that Katherine Charlton has been named Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week, while freshman Alex Vazquez was named Baseball Rookie of the Week. Charlton has now been named Rookie Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time in the 2024 season. Charlton made one start and one relief appearance last week. In a start against Southern Virginia, she went 4.0 innings and gave up 5 hits and 3 runs. She also pitched 0.2 innings against Pfeiffer. For Vazquez, this is his second Rookie of the Week in a row.…
