BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The LIU softball team hosted Wagner in a pair of afternoon matchups on Tuesday. In game one, the Sharks were led by a dominant performance in the circle by Lindsey Cowans and picked up runs thanks to timely hitting by Gabby Padilla and Emma Niece in the third inning. Padilla drove in Dallas Andrews with an RBI double and in the next at bat Niece drove in Padilla to give the Sharks a 2-0 lead.
