Elijah Hawkins transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Kentucky Wildcats
Kentucky will likely add several players through the portal this offseason as it transitions from John Calipari to Mark Pope, as many of Calipari’s incoming commits have reopened their recruitment while most players from his past season’s roster have declared for the NBA draft or have entered the transfer portal. That makes Hawkins a candidate to land in Lexington and Kentucky is one of several schools that has already reached out to the 5-foot-11 guard. Hawkins would bring invaluable experience to the Wildcats and could see his scoring increase significantly in Pope’s offensive attack if he can maintain his consistent 3-point shooting. Bringing in a true starting point guard like Hawkins has a chance to become Pope’s first big splash addition in Lexington.
