ATLANTA -- Max Fried produced his third career 'Maddux' and Adam Duvall hit a two-run homer as the Braves claimed a 5-0 win over the Marlins on Tuesday night at Truist Park. Fried needed just 92 pitches (69 strikes) to complete a three-hit shutout. Named after Hall of Fame pitcher Greg Maddux, a 'Maddux' is any complete-game shutout on fewer than 100 pitches.
