Greenville’s Caleb Salazar repeats as MVP of District 13-5A soccer

Greenville senior Caleb Salazar, who ranked among the top scorers in the region, repeated as the most valuable player in District 13-5A soccer. Salazar was named the district’s MVP for the second straight season after leading the Lions with 31 goals. He tied the Lions’ single-season record previously set by Ian Miller. He helped the Lions go 14-5-1 for the season and win their second bi-district title over the last 17 years.
