HIGH SCHOOL TRACK & FIELD ROUNDUP: Floyd Central boys win Eastern Relays

LOUISVILLE — The Floyd Central boys took home the team title in the two-day Louisville Eastern Relays, which finished Saturday at the University of Louisville. The Highlanders, who had three first-place finishes, totaled 96.7 points — 26.2 ahead of runner-up Mason (Ohio). For Floyd, senior standout Will Conway won the 1-mile run in 4 minutes, 15.34 seconds; junior Brock Conrad captured the discus (163-feet, 2-inches) and senior Jake Grangier tied for first in the pole vault (14-6).
