This past weekend the Hobart and William Smith sailing team competed for the America Trophy in Throggs Neck, New York, finishing eighth out of 18 teams. The America Trophy serves as the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association Championship regatta. The America Trophy Saturday began with an early postponement due too a lack of wind, but by the afternoon the conditions were good, and the races went smoothly.
