Kierra Shaw Selected for Prestigious Summer Policy Institute

New York, N.Y.- Kierra Shaw of the Hunter College softball team has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 The Public Policy & International Affairs Program (PPIA) Fellowship, one of two students representing Hunter College, and one of just 149 total students selected across the country. The prestigious fellowship for rising seniors provides six weeks of free, rigorous summer programming at one of six campuses across America to prepare them for advanced schooling and careers in public service and international affairs, according to its promotional materials.
