Lacrosse: Pirisino Named IWLCA Co-Defensive Player of the Week
HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison lacrosse defender Lizzy Pirisino has been named the IWLCA Division I Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday. The senior was tabbed Co-Defensive Player of the Week after recording four ground balls and four caused turnovers in the Dukes' 17-8 victory over Vanderbilt at Sentara Park on Saturday. Pirisino's four caused turnovers in the matchup moved her into 19th in all-time caused turnovers in JMU history with 64. She currently leads the team with 28 caused turnovers this season.
