Late Homerun Lifts Knights Over Mustangs
OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Neumann University baseball team scored two runs in the eighth inning to defeat Stevenson University 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon. JerVal Shuler started the game on the mound for Neumann. He went 6.0 innings and allowed an unearned run and two hits while striking out six in the no decision. Vic Mejia went 2.0 innings, struck out two and picked up the win. Jack Valentine pitched the ninth inning for the save.
