Men’s Track and Field: Gono Phiri, Orth garner weekly NCAC awards

CLEVELAND, Ohio — After compiling a pair of fantastic showings at the Duane Gomez Invitational over the weekend, the Kenyon College duo of Tapiwa Gono Phiri and Riley Orth each earned North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Athlete of the Week honors. Gono Phiri represented the Owls in the award’s sprints/hurdles category, while Orth won out in the field category. The Owls duo contributed to 54 of the team’s 142 total points at the Invitational, helping Kenyon claim the team title in their annual home meet.
