Nagai Selected as Conference Player of the Week

RICHARDSON, Texas – UT Dallas freshman Reika Nagai was selected as the American Southwest Conference East Division Player of the Week on Tuesday. Nagai, from Frisco, Texas, won both of her matches, including the clinching singles point, in a 7-2 win against East Texas Baptist. She teamed with Riya Matharoo for an 8-3 victory over Isabelle Duarte and Kristyn Dunn at number three. Nagai then defeated Bailey Smith at number three singles 6-2, 6-3.
