NORTH BRANCH — Maci Kaake, a senior multi-sport athlete at North Branch High signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Spring Arbor University last week. Kaake intends to study elementary and special education. She’s setting the bar for her siblings Kayleigh, 15, Brayden, 14, and Isaiah, 10. Kaake was a middle hitter for the Class B State Championship volleyball team and forward on the girls’ basketball team.
