Peitz wins 800-meter run for Wildcats at Dakota State Meet

Senior Gabe Peitz won the 800-meter run to lead a partial Wayne State men's track and field team effort Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dakota State Twilight Meet in Madison, South Dakota as the Wildcats had athletes compete in seven events. Host Dakota State won the team title with a score of 166 points with Southwest Minnesota State second at 114. Briar Cliff came in third at 60 points with Wayne State fourth at 50.
