Sam Chutkow’s gem helps Knights to split at Hamline
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College baseball team capped a stretch of 10 games in 10 days by splitting a doubleheader against Hamline University. Behind a complete game effort from Sam Chutkow , the Knights won game one, 4-1, before the Pipers claimed game two by a 16-6 (8 inn.) tally. Game 1 Aaron Rice opened the scoring for the Knights (10-19, 7-9 MIAC) in the second by stinging a line drive into right center field and motoring into third for an RBI triple.
