Lauren Rende's RBI single in the top of the eighth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted Manhattan to a 3-2 victory over Canisius in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference softball action Tuesday at the Demske Sports Complex in downtown Buffalo. The Jaspers improved to 9-32 overall and 6-9 in conference action with the extra-innings victory while the Golden Griffins fell to 17-16 overall and 12-6 in league play.
