Softball Records A Loss and Tie in Doubleheader At Boston University

BOSTON, Mass.- The Providence College softball team recorded a loss and tie against the Boston University Terriers (41-1-1, 12-0 Patriot League) in a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 23 in Boston, Mass. The Friars fell 8-0 in six innings in game one and tied 1-1 in game two against the Terriers. The Friars moved to 18-20-1 overall (8-10 BIG EAST). Senior and co-captain Tori Grifone (Sussex, N.J.) excelled both in the circle and at the plate in game two.
