Softball tops Boston College
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball team defeated the Boston College Eagles, 5-4 on Tuesday night at Burrill Family Field. Hallie Siems made her 25th start of the season in the circle for the Huskies. She went 4.1 innings giving up four runs on six hits with four strikeouts. Boston College opened the scoring in the top of the first inning with one run, but Siems was able to limit the damage, stranding a runner in scoring position.
