Two Dutch athletes named conference weekly award winners

PELLA— Central College had a pair of student-athletes recognized as the American Rivers Conference performers of the week in their sports Tuesday morning. Sophomore women’s track and field athlete Olivia Bohlen (Belle Plaine) and junior men’s tennis player Ayden Fletcher (junior, Waukee) were chosen as the best in the league for their respective sports. Bohlen was chosen as the field events performer of the week after winning the heptathlon at the John Green Combined Events hosted by Doane University (Neb.).
