Wildcats Drop Mounties
CRESSON, Pa. — The Mount Aloysius Baseball team stepped out of conference play, on Monday, to host Penn College for a single, nine-inning game. Despite having a lead heading into the ninth inning, the Mounties (19-12) fell to the Wildcats, 11-6. Mount Aloysius got out ahead in the opening frame, as Tyler Quade (Mechanicsville, Md. / Chopticon) hit a sacrifice fly to drive home Ryan Bushey (Latrobe, Pa. / Derry) from third base, giving the Mounties an early 1-0 lead.
