SANTA ROSA – The Chico State women's golf squad kicked off the 2024 CCAA Women's Golf Championships on Monday at Santa Rosa Country Club, finishing 6th after the first round. A cloudless sky set the scene for the opening eighteen but with wind looming later in the afternoon. Strong scores across the field but an uncomfortable day on the greens as the speed of putts had to be calculated with minimal errors.
