Andrew Grinnell Named BIG EAST Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

NEW YORK— Senior thrower Andrew Grinnell (New Milford, Conn.) earned the first weekly conference honor of his career when he was named the BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week in an announcement by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. Grinnell is coming off a career best performance in the javelin at the Virginia Challenge last weekend. In his season debut in Virginia last Friday afternoon, Grinnell looked to be in midseason form as he recorded a personal best mark of 64.85 meters in the javelin.
