Baseball Falls in Series Finale to Oswego State
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team dropped the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) series finale against Oswego State on a snowy Wednesday afternoon, 14-0. The Lakes scored seven runs in the second inning and never looked back, scoring seven more for the series-clinching win. Austin Caldwell (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and Adam Wein (North Rockland, N.Y./Don Bosco Prep) each had a base hit and walk for the Cardinal offense. Conner Gonzalski (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and Jack Defayette (Rotterdam, N.Y./Schalmont) each registered hits as well for Plattsburgh.
