RUSTON – Louisiana Tech's bowling team added transfer Rachel Ong for the 2024-25 season, head coach Matt Nantais announced on Wednesday. Ong comes to LA Tech after helping Sam Houston State reach the NCAA Final Four as a freshman. She finished the season with a 205.88 average for the traditional portion, with her best finishing coming at the Colonial Lanes Classic, where she finished eighth with a 1,058. Ong finished with an overall frame average of 19.86, a 47 percent strike rate, and a 90.6 percent single-pin spare conversion.
