Clean Sweep for Women’s Tennis as Bobcats Blank Endicott, 9-0

LEWISTON, Maine — Bates College women’s tennis enjoyed a 9-0 shutout over visiting Endicott College Tuesday afternoon as the Bobcats collect their first victory on home turf this spring season. Playing on campus in the Wallach Tennis Center, Bates (4-11) opened the afternoon with a clean sweep in doubles competition: Ally Friedman and Iris Westmoreland cruised to an 8-3 win over Endicott’s Lejla Guster and Ripley Uyeda in the #1 slot.
