Cougars Drop Rubber Match to Georgia Southern
MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - The College of Charleston softball team lost 15-3 to Georgia Southern on Wednesday evening at Patriots Point in the teams' third meeting of the season. The Cougars previously beat the Eagles 5-1 on February 16 at the Bubly Invitational but lost 3-2 in Statesboro on March 13. Both teams were scoreless through the first two innings despite back-to-back base hits by Savannah Lockhart and Malaka Belser in the first frame.
