DeAngelo Repeats as Academic All-Area Performer of the Year, Joined on the Squad by Caprise

PHILADELPHIA – Swarthmore College’s Vinny DeAngelo and Michael Caprise were selected to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Men’s Basketball Team this week. In addition, DeAngelo was chosen the Performer of the Year for the second season in a row. The Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Teams are nominated and voted on by the athletic communications offices of 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and have at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA.
