District champs: Timely pitching, Distel’s 2 RBIs lift Flower Mound to 3-2 win over Hebron
CARROLLTON – With the Flower Mound baseball team one strike away from winning their first outright district title since 2015, Jaguar players huddled at the end of the dugout. After TCU commit and senior right-hander Zack James got junior Chase Harris out on a swinging strike-em-out, throw-em-out play to clinch a 3-2 win for 6A’s No. 1-ranked Flower Mound over Hebron at Hawk Field on Tuesday night, the Jaguars stormed out of the dugout and celebrated with their teammates on the pitcher’s mound.
