AUSTIN, Texas – Tennessee sophomore swimmer Martin Espernberger was tabbed to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America First Team, the organization announced Wednesday. Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Espernberger has created a stellar resume in the classroom and in the pool. The Linz, Austria, native boasts an impressive 3.93 GPA and was named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in February. He was also a member of the SEC Academic First-Year Honor Roll in June of 2023.
